Public questions

  • John – Whitley – Safety camera vans
Q1 – I’d like to know why NY Police do not deploy the Camera Safety Van at night/ in the hours of darkness.
East Yorkshire/Riding Police force seem to be able to do this successfully as I see there vans out quite regularly in the early evening. Is the NY police equipment not capable of working in darkness or is it a staffing issue, or something else.
Q2 – Why does it take so long to publish the camera van reports on the NYP website?
