I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, Policing, Fire and Crime Team (PFC) on 26th September 2025.
Request:
Since 1st April 2025 to the date of receipt of this request please provide the following:
1. All internal correspondence, calls and meetings relating to the bid made by the York and North Yorkshire combined authority, the University of York and Drax to become an AI Growth Zone. With regard to this bid, please include all correspondence, calls and meetings that mention the following terms: “AI Growth Zones”, “AIGZ bid”, “data centres”, “clean energy campus”, “carbon dioxide removal credits”, “carbon negative”, “BECCS”, “the University of York” and “Drax”.
2. All correspondence, calls and meetings between the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, the University of York and/or Drax relating to the AI Growth Zone bid.
Correspondence should include texts, Whatsapp messages, emails, and letters. Topics mentioned in quote marks in the bullet points above can be used as search terms for finding relevant emails. For emails, please provide:
a. all emails in the conversation threads, even if other emails in the thread do not include the stated keywords.
b. any attachments to emails in these threads.
For each call and meeting, please provide:
a. the date, time, duration, and attendees of the meeting or call.
b. any agenda, minutes, or transcripts for the meeting held by the University of York.
c. any documents shared with attendees during, following, or in advance of the meeting, including (but not limited to) presentation slides, reports, and briefings.

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the PFC.
I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the PFC in order to answer your request.
