I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, Policing, Fire and Crime Directorate (PFC) 27th January 2026.

Please provide me with any information held detailing the number of personal data breaches that were reported to the ICO in 2023.  

 

Answer/ Response:  

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the PFC.     

I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by the PFC.    

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.   

 

Q1) Number of personal data breaches that were reported to the ICO in 2023. 

Answer: There were no personal data breaches reported to the ICO in 2023 by the Office for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.
