May I request the following details on the contact between the Police and Crime Commissioner and Finn Communications:-

1. How many bids were received for this contact?
2. What was the cost the bids?
3. How much was the bid from Finn Communications?
4. Did Mrs Mulligan declare an interest (of any sort) in the preferred bidder?

Searches were carried out within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. I confirm that the information you have requested is held and have decided to release the information to you.

Question 1

4 bids were received for the North Yorkshire Police Communications Review contract.

Question 2

I have interpreted this question as meaning the quotes received from the unsuccessful companies who responded to the Invitation to Quote. These were as follows:

1. £33,950
2. £35,000
3. £34,000

The budget allocated to the delivery of this project was £35,000 and this was confirmed in the Invitation to Quote issued by the Commissioner. Question 3

The bid from Finn Communications was within the budget specified in the Invitation to Quote.
