I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the York and North Yorkshire Office for Policing, Fire, Crime and Commissioning (OPFCC) on 06th March 2025.

Question/ Request:

  1. The amount of funding to be provided to organisations supporting sexual violence and abuse victim-survivors in your force area, for the 25/26 financial year. Please break this down by organisation funded, providing information about the nature of the funding arrangement, and the services to be provided by the organisation supporting victim-survivors of sexual violence and abuse, using the attached spreadsheet template. If you lead a Violence Reduction Unit, please also include the funding awarded to organisations supporting sexual violence victim-survivors by the VRU.
  1. The total amount of funding to be provided to organisations supporting victim-survivors of domestic abuse in your force area, for the 25/26 financial year.

Answer/ Response:

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the OPFCC.

I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by the OPFCC.

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.

  1. The amount of funding to be provided to organisations supporting sexual violence and abuse victim-survivors in your force area, for the 25/26 financial year – provided on the attached spreadsheet below.

For clarity, we do not have a Violence Reduction Unit.

  1. The total amount of funding to be provided by the OPFCC to organisations supporting victim-survivors of domestic abuse in your force area, for the 25/26 financial year = £1,159,516, plus a proportion of the Counselling and Talking Therapies Services funding as detailed on the attached spreadsheet below.
