I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 31st March 2023.

I note you seek access to the following information:  

Can you please provide me with the exact numbers of people who have been caught and successfully prosecuted by the police for littering / dog fouling in the Ripon district in each of the last 3 years please. Failing that can you advise how many have been prosecuted and whether you have run any operations to try to catch the perpetrators in known littering areas? If the area is too specific can you please advise what activities you have done, how many prosecutions (successful or otherwise) there have been in the ‘catchment’ area in which Ripon falls for reporting purposes.

I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the OPFCC in order to answer your request.
