I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, Policing, Fire and Crime Directorate (PFC) on the 11th December 2025.
Request:
In relation to the current survey, please could you let us know:
1. How the £973k given by the government for neighbourhood policing was spent? How many extra full time officers were recruited and how many remain with the service.
2. In relation to the fire precept the massive hike was purported to inject stability into the service. What exactly did this achieve and what exactly will the money raised for the next financial year achieve. “road safety” is cited but what exactly?

I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the PFC in order to answer your request.
