I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, Policing, Fire and Crime Team (PFC) on the 4th August 2025.
Question/ Request:
Can you provide the following details please:
– How many fire and rescue stations are there within the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service area of operations
– At each fire station, how many full time crews are there per shift
– At each fire station, how many retained crews are there per shift
– Have North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service fire fighters received any training on fire fighting at Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the PFC.
I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the PFC in order to answer your request.
The information you are looking for may be held by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
