I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 27 April 2023.
I note you seek access to the following information:
With the Government announcing today (26/4/23) that they have met their target of recruiting 20,000 extra police officers.
Can you inform me how many ‘attested’ police officers NYP have actually recruited as part of the 20,000, plus how many PCSO’s have been recruited during the same period?
Why has NYP more PCSO’s that any other Force in the country?
