Information not held

Our Ref: 17 June 2021 - NY6052

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: NY6052

I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 14 May 2021. Please accept our apologies for the delay in providing you with a response.

I note you seek access to the following information:

I should be grateful if you would let me know the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

1) How is the revenue from speeding fines in North Yorkshire split? Simply put, which bodies (North Yorkshire Police, local councils, Whitehall etc.) receive what proportion of fines?

2) How is/was the revenue from Covid 19-related fines split between various bodies? For the avoidance of doubt, I refer here to fines imposed specifically by North Yorkshire Police for breaches of the new Covid-related laws brought into statute in 2020, which would not have been offences in 2019 and before. Again, which bodies receive(d) what proportion of fines?
