I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 11 May 2023.
I note you seek access to the following information:
The number of incidents police were called out to a report of shoplifting of an item of food in the York Outer police area boundary in each of the following years: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 (and the figure to date for 2023).
Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information
To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the OPFCC.
I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the OPFCC in order to answer your request.
This is because this information is held by North Yorkshire Police and not the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, North Yorkshire.
