I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 25 February 2024.

Question:

Do you have th right to prevent a man, woman or child, from carrying a long bow in public? Given, that it is still a legal requirement of all men of legal age to practice archery on the prescribed day

Response:

I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the OPFCC in order to answer your request.

This is because the information is held by North Yorkshire Police and not the OPFCC.

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the OPFCC.
