I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC) on 27 February 2024.

Question/ Request:

In line with the legal recognition of ethical veganism as a protected philosophical belief under the Equality Act 2010 since January 2020, any written communication from 2020 to 2023 inclusively between the Police and Crime Commissioner office and the Police, regarding veganphobia or hate crime against vegans.

Answer/ Response:

I wish to advise you that there is no information held by the OPFCC in order to answer your request.

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within the OPFCC.
