Commissioner appoints Interim Deputy Chief Fire Officer
Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Philip Allott has appointed Jonathan Dyson to be the Interim Deputy Chief Fire Officer of North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service following a rigorous selection and interview process.
Jonathan joined North Yorkshire in March 2020 as Director of Assurance, responsible for delivering organisational improvement and assuring performance against the Risk and Resource Model and the Commissioner’s Fire and Rescue Plan.
As Interim Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Jonathan will support Interim Chief Fire Officer Jon Foster in providing organisational leadership and management, ensuring the maintenance and development of effective service provision to our communities.
