Meet your Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner at Great Yorkshire Show

Visitors to the Great Yorkshire Show next week are being invited to raise any policing, fire or community concerns with North Yorkshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan.

The Commissioner will be at the Show on Wednesday (10 July) to talk to local residents, farmers and business owners to hear their thoughts on rural crime.

Julia, who also chairs the National Rural Crime Network, will be on the North Yorkshire Police stand (9.30-11am) and the CLA stand (11am-12.30pm).

She said:

“The Great Yorkshire Show is one of the highlights of the year for Harrogate, North Yorkshire and rural Britain and I look forward to meeting some of those at the Showground visiting this brilliant event.

“As the Commissioner for the largest rural police force in England, I am particularly keen to ensure that our rural communities receive the support they deserve from the police and other support services and this is an important opportunity to hear directly from as many as possible on their experiences and perceptions of rural crime.”

If you are visiting the Great Yorkshire Show and would like to discuss rural crime or community issues with Julia, you can meet her informally:
