Commissioner Zoë to visit Scarborough, meet local residents and business owners to hear their community, policing and fire service concerns.

On Wednesday 29 March, Commissioner Zoë Metcalfe, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire and York will be in Scarborough to meet residents and business owners to hear about any community issues they may have.

Commissioner Zoë and members of her team will be at the Tesco Superstore, Westwood, Scarborough YO11 2PN from 10.00am until 1.00pm.

No appointment is necessary, so please come along to find out more about her work or to discuss a community, policing or fire service concern.

Commissioner Zoë is the link between the public and the police and fire and rescue service – to make sure they do a good job on the public’s  behalf.

It is Zoë’s job to ensure community needs are met as effectively as possible, by setting objectives through her Police and Crime Plan and Fire and Rescue Plan.

She is supported by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, who help her with public engagement and scrutiny of the police and fire services and in providing a wide range of services to help victims to cope and recover.
