North Yorkshire Volunteer Police Cadet unit is recruiting

North Yorkshire Police are currently recruiting for York, Catterick and Harrogate Police Cadets! 

The Cadets are aged 14-17, they learn about the basic foundations and principles of policing, take part in different physical/ sporting activities and support the community at different events and deployments.

As a cadet you are required to do a minimum 3 hours a month of deployment. As well as learning about policing the cadet learn different skills such a communicating with the public, discipline and make new friends.

The York Cadets walked with Police officers in the PRIDE Parade, Catterick Cadets attended public order training – acting in scenarios and the Scarborough Unit recently climbed the 3 peaks and raised money for good causes.

The opportunities for the Cadets to get involved in is endless and extremely rewarding.

The application will go  live on the North Yorkshire police website- vacancies page on the 5th of July and will close on the 19th of July. It is a small online application, if successful you will then be invited for an interview.
