Have your say on road safety and ensure North Yorkshire’s voice is heard

North Yorkshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner is encouraging residents across the county to have their say on road safety and enforcement.

Julia Mulligan is supporting a national survey from the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners which will help form the response to the government’s review of roads policing, including looking at what the future of traffic law enforcement may look like.

The 60-second poll can be completed until Wednesday 30 September at bit.ly/NYRoadsSurvey

Julia Mulligan said:

“Road safety is one of the biggest concerns I hear about across North Yorkshire and York – and far too many people are still injured and killed on our roads every year.

“It’s important that our voice is heard when the national response to the government’s consultation is put together. Our rural communities face particular challenges, and it’s important those views are represented when decisions are made. That’s why I’m asking for 60 seconds of your time to complete the survey and have your say on road safety and the way traffic laws are enforced.”
