#SELBY #SHERBURNinELMET discuss your community safety and policing issues with your Commissioner

Residents and businesses of North Yorkshire are invited to discuss policing and community safety issues with their elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Julia Mulligan, at her public surgeries in the Selby area.

The next events will take place on Thursday 15 March when Julia will be holding two advice surgeries:

  • 15:30 – 16:30 at the library, Finkle Hill, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6E
  • 17:00 – 18:00 at Selby Community Centre, Scott Road, Selby, YO8 4BL

Julia said: “The surgeries are a good opportunity for residents of Selby, especially around Selby and Sherburn in Elmet, to come along and tell me how the police are doing in their area and to bring up any issues they may have about safety in the community – good or bad.

“I am eager to hear firsthand how residents feel in their in local communities. So please, if you have any concerns regarding policing and crime matters that you would like to discuss with me, contact my office to book an appointment.”

The surgeries run on an appointment only basis, with each appointment lasting 15 minutes.

To book your meeting

Surgery dates are organised around the county on different days and at different times; you do not necessarily have to go to the surgery closest to your home, but you can choose the most convenient to you.
