Please could you send me a list of all the devices (e.g., mobile phones; tablet computers; laptops, etc) that have been issued to the PCC, her chief executive and chief of staff since her office was created. I’d like to know what types of device, how many of each type theyve had, when they were replaced, why they were replaced and any losses, thefts or damages.

Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were carried out within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).

I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by the OPCC.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.

The PCC has been issued with the following devices:

  • iPhone – this has not been updated or replaced since their appointment.
  • iPad – this has been replaced twice due to a fault.

The Chief Executive has been issued with the following devices:

  • iPhone – this has not been updated or replaced since their appointment.
  • iPad – this has been replaced once due to a fault.

The Chief of Staff has been issued with the following devices:

  • Blackberry – this has not been updated or replaced since their appointment.
  • iPad – this has not been updated or replaced since their appointment.

There have been no recorded losses, thefts or damage to any of the above devices.
