Extent and Result Of Searches To Locate Information

Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire to locate relevant information.

There is no information held in response to your request, as this pension scheme is administered by a third party, and the Police and Crime Commissioner does not hold separate files or information on the matter.

The right of access to information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges an authority, where it holds requested information, to provide that to an applicant (subject to certain exemptions). There is, however, no right to have information communicated in response to a request where an authority does not hold relevant information.

In the course of my dealings with you on this subject it is apparent that you are aware of the administrator of the scheme, and you may therefore wish to contact them directly in relation to your request.
