I write in connection with your request for information that was received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (OPFCC). 14 December 2022. Please accept our apologies for the delay in providing you with a response.

I note you seek access to the following information:  

The total number of staff that work for York and North Yorkshire Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Zoe Metcalfe. Please tell me how many are full time or part time, the job title of each and the salary for each role.

I would also like to know the combined salary of all staff members.

We have 35 members of staff, 34 of whom are full time and 1 who is part-time.

In relation to salaries, please see the below link for the information published on our website:

In terms of the combined salary, we can only provide information in financial years (April- March), rather than in calendar years (January- December). The final figure for April 2021- March 2022 for all staff salaries (including the OPFCC), was £37,650,000.

For clarity, the actual spend for staff salaries in the OPFCC for 2021-2022 was £948,181.
