Cyber Crime in North Yorkshire

Julia today (Tuesday 28 August) focused on North Yorkshire Police’s approach to and handling of cyber crime.

The Public Accountability Meeting looked at the changes there have been in the Force’s approach to cyber crime, how communities are being engaged with to support awareness and prevention, and the plans for the future.

Take place every month, the 2.5 hour Public Accountability Meetings examine a different theme and are an opportunity for both the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable to ask questions of the Force and ensure its approach is scrutinised, a key part of Julia’s determination to ensure the police service is performing at its best.

Julia also wants your questions – this is the chance for you to have a direct link to some of North Yorkshire’s most senior officers on some of the most important issues the county is dealing with today.
