Julia Mulligan responds to Fire Brigades Union announcement
Julia Mulligan, Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire, said: “My focus is and will always be on the frontline and I’m pleased the Fire Brigades Union has recognised this in their decision.
“The bottom line is that my business case identifies £6.6 million of savings that could be reinvested into the frontline through sharing buildings, back office functions and by seizing collaboration opportunities. We are currently in the midst of a consultation and are keen to hear from the workforce and public. I would therefore encourage people to find out more and let me know their thoughts by going to telljulia.com.”
