Questions invited at #NYPscrutiny meeting focusing on mental health

Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable are inviting the public to ask questions in advance, and via Twitter, for the next Public Accountability meeting on Tuesday 24 October at 13:30 that will be broadcast live.

Meeting overview

This month’s meeting focuses on mental health. 

Examples of some of the work undertaken includes:

  • Commissioning a range of services to support people with mental health issues and reduce demand on the police.
  • Providing places of safety for people suffering from mental health
  • Police leading the way with mental health training
  • Providing specialist help and support to people with mental health issues
