Commissioner congratulates Rose Fearnley on her award of The Queen’s Fire Service Medal

North Yorkshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has spoken to Rose Fearnley to send his congratulations on her award of The Queen’s Fire Service Medal in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours.

Philip Allott said:

“Rose is an amazing person who exemplifies the community spirit we see so much of in our beautiful part of the world. Her story and achievements demonstrate just how important our team of volunteer firefighters are to keeping people, places and animals safe across North Yorkshire.

“I congratulate her on receiving this much-deserved recognition from Her Majesty which shows how much she is valued by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, our county and our country. Without people like Rose to protect us, we would be much less safe as individuals and much poorer as a community.”
