Julia publishes local business case
Following a 10-week consultation which received responses from more than 2,500 people from across North Yorkshire, Julia Mulligan, the Police and Crime Commissioner, has published her consultation response and revised business case.
Julia said: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the consultation—the public, firefighters, police officers and fire and police staff and councils—who shared their views, took the time to fill out the survey and who met with me personally.
“I’ve considered all your feedback carefully, responding fully through my consultation report, and have made changes to my business case to make sure that the information you thought was important is clearly visible.
“My business case has been submitted to the Home Office, where it will undergo an independent assessment before the Home Secretary makes her final decision.”
