Working in the North Yorkshire Office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner is varied, fast-paced and comes with significant responsibility

To be considered for any post, you will need a strong public service ethos, combined with an interest in policing and the criminal justice system. You will also need a good understanding of the role of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner and their work in North Yorkshire and the City of York. Strong personal empathy, listening skills and an ability to be considerate of others are also essential, as all members of the Commissioner’s team offer a service to the public.
