The statement lays down the “rules” and standards by which we operate and explains the processes and procedures that govern us and is published every September.
Annual Governance Statement 2024/2025
- The functions of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner in North Yorkshire were transferred to the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority from 7 May 2024.
- A separate Annual Governance Statement for Fire and Rescue is no longer produced.
- Governance matters relating to Fire and Rescue are now incorporated within the York and North Yorkshire Annual Governance Statement published on the Transparency page of their website.
