Do you have a question about crime recording for the #NYPscrutiny meeting?

Julia Mulligan, the elected Police and Crime Commissioner is inviting questions for the next meeting of the monthly police accountability meeting. To be held on Tuesday 24 April at 13:30, and webcast LIVE, the Commissioner is focusing on crime recording.

Viewers of the live webcast can ask the Board questions via Twitter during the meeting, by using #NYPscrutiny, or by asking them beforehand via Twitter or e-mail.

This month’s meeting focuses on Crime recording

In February, following HMICFRS Crime Data Integrity report which found that 80 per cent of all crime was being recorded by North Yorkshire Police, Julia asked the Chief Constable to make improvements ‘as a matter of urgency’. This meeting will focus on the work has been carried out on improving crime recording in North Yorkshire.
