- Q1. Marc – Malton – Hunting
Why do the North Yorkshire Police continue to fail to deal with illegal fox hunting,, the hunts anti-social behaviour and continuous criminal activity across North Yorkshire..Why do the North Yorkshire Police continually fail to respond to and thoroughly investigate reports of or reports relating to the illegal activities of Hunts across North Yorkshire? - Q2.Nick – Scarborough – Hunting
Due to the increasing public demand for the ban on trail hunting (fox hunting) are north yorkshire police going to invest in specialist training for their officers?
- Q3. Alistair – York – Crime in Huntington
What is happening about reducing crime, high level and low level in Huntington and on Huntington Road, York? Zero response on a reported crime. - Q4. Gwen – York – Rural/Urban Task Force
We hear a lot re all the efforts of the ‘rural task force’ what happened to the urban task force’. It seems very little focus on urban areas, can we have a report on this to this meeting? - Q5. Philip – Pickering – Drink and Drug Driving
In the December 2024 drink and drug driving campaign there were 151 alleged offences.
This is up from 121 in the 2023 campaign, a considerable increase.
Is there anything more that North Yorkshire Police can do to reduce the number of people putting the general public and themselves at risk from this, especially over the Christmas and New Year period when it becomes more prevalent?
